Bhandardara is a holiday resort village near Igatpuri, in the western ghats of India. Bhandardara Camping is one of the most amazing and highly favourite camping and picnic spots for lovers of nature in Maharashtra. Located 50kms from Kasara railway station, our campsite is a hotspot of tourism for its natural beauty and the attractions nearby like the many hills, waterfalls, Wilson dam, Bhandardara Dam and Arthur Lake.
This camp by the lake is a great place to stay and enjoy a getaway in the lap of nature. Complete with comfortable tents and mattresses, the place has clean and hygienic toilets to make your stay an even more wonderful experience. To top that, our package includes adventure activities like boating, an on-foot jungle safari and a lakeside view.
The best time to visit Bhandardara is during monsoon and early winter i.e. from May to September. During this season, the temperature is at its best and the place blooms with lush greenery.

The campsite is cleaned and sanitised on a regular basis. At campsite entry, there will be a temperature check. Participants with temperatures outside the normal range will not be permitted entry. Q: How do I get to Bhandardara camping?

From Mumbai: Bhandardara is 165 km from Mumbai. Kasara station is the nearest station to Bhandardara. You can hire a private cab or ask us to connect you with a driver. The cab charges Rs.4000 for Kasara to Campsite to Kasara. The cab can accommodate 8-10 people at a time. You can also take a bus from Kasara station to Muthkhel Gaon. Complimentary pick-up or drop service is available from the Muthkhel bus stop.

From Nashik: Bhandardara is 75 km from Nashik. You can take the MSRTC bus from Ghoti to Muthkhel Gaon. Complimentary pick-up or drop service is available from the Muthkhel bus stop.

The tents are by default given on twin sharing basis. In case, you are a group of odd people (3,5,7,9), the last tent would be on a single sharing basis. We won't make you share with random strangers.
